For each species, he will discuss its natural history, show how to identify it by sight and sound, and provide the best ways to attract individuals to your yard.

Bio: Tanner Shepard became interested in birding at the age of 11. He is a passionate birder and has led bird walks at multiple birding-related events. He has a B.S. in Biology from Morehead State University and an M.S. in Wildlife Ecology from Texas State University. He has also been an employee at Wild Birds Unlimited in Frankfort since it opened in March of 2016, and has continued to work here while not in school.
